Shot Comparison

This a shot from my lastest AM test. So I decided to pull a Jeff Gabor (although I'm miles away from being skilled as him) and make a comparison of the steps I go through on the animation process. First video reference, then blocking, then polishing. It's pretty fun to look at the reference and the final piece now.

For me, I think making video reference is essential, this is something on AM that made grow a lot as an animator. Not making the reference persé, but knowing how to use it, how to analize movement and cook your ideas.

Esta é uma cena do meu último teste no AM. Eu resolvi dar uma de Jeff Gabor (embora eu esteja bem longe de ser bom como ele) e fazer uma comparação dos meus passos no processo de animação. Primeiro video referência, depois a blocagem, depois o polimento. É muito legal olhar para a referência e o trabalho final agora.

Para mim fazer a video referência é essencial, é algo no AM que me ajudou a crescer muito como animador. Não tanto fazer a referência por si só, mas saber como usá-la, como analizar os movimentos e preparar suas idéias.
